Shakira was just one of the many artists worldwide that paid tribute to pop legend Michael Jackson, who passed away June 25. Shakira acknowledged that the King of Pop’s legacy will allways remain. She said, “Michael Jackson was the king of artistic brilliance.” “With his death … a legend is born that will last until the end of time.”
Shakira releases new single called She-wolf; in the promos, the singer is featured like a woman half human and half wolf that is attacking different parts of Earth. She-wolf is the first single of her upcoming album “We´ll never know” , which is going to hit stores on June 26. The last Shakira album “Oral Fixation” was released in 2005.
The Spanish-language version of the track, Loba, is available to hear now on the player at Shakira’s MySpace.
Shakira denies the rumors that she is intending to leave her record label Epic despite speculation of a rift with bosses. Her statement comes as a response to the numerous reports circulating that were claiming the singer was unhappy with executives at her record label, and she feels “neglected” by her current managers. However, Shakira’s rep told the New York Daily News, “(The rumors are) not true. She’s very happy at Epic.”
